PRODUCTIVITY MAPS
Increase the margin of your crops by choosing management tools that best fit your lot: rotation, variety, hybrid, date and planting density. To take advantage of this technology, it is not necessary to count with special variable rate seeding equipment.
STEP 1: With the NDVI and Historical Harvest Maps we make statistical analysis (Cluster Analysis) to group the areas of the lot which have similar behaves. After that, we make a field recognition and check each different area or groups of the cluster.
STEP 2: At the farm, we measured the depth of the water table, we observed the topography, we made trial pits and took soil samples for the subsequent laboratory analysis (texture, ph, electrical conductivity, etc).
STEP 3: With the laboratory results, the data taken at the farm and the multi-year cluster, we identify the characteristics of each zone and elaborate the productivity maps.
VARIABLE RATE APPLICATION
With this Solution you will: maximize the potential in the best zones, achieve higher productive floors in lower quality zones and save inputs where they are not needed. The next step after adjusting the strategy in the macro zones (rotation, genetic material and planting date) is to optimize the management in the micro zones, using the right amount of inputs in each of them.
At TSA we develop an accurate application map for sowing and variable fertilization. We also advise you on the fertilization strategy: we recommend the areas for soil sampling based on the NDVI of the crop. With the laboratory results, we perform a nutrient balance and calculate the optimal economic dose (DOE) for each zone.
AGRONOMIC ADVISOR
MANAGEMENT STRATEGIES: We design management strategies for your crops (soy, corn, wheat, sunflower, peanut and sorghum). We advise you on: crops rotation, choice of hybrids, varieties, date, planting densities and fertilization for each zone of your farm. TSA coordinates the exchange of information and agronomic experience among its customers network with the aim of shortening the learning periods in the management zones strategies.
INTEGRATED PEST MANAGEMENT: TSA offers you professional advice in the integrated management of insects, weeds and diseases to achieve an efficient, economic and with the least environmental impact. Our team of agronomist designs a cultural, genetic, biological and chemical strategies set for pest management for your company. We advise you on: planning, choosing agrochemicals and the correct rotation of modes of action to avoid resistances or leaks. During the growing season we support the technical responsible of your crops and answer your queries.
YIELD MAPS
This technology allows to know the differences between the zones (kg/ha of grain). From this solution you may have two great possibilities:
YEAR ANALYSIS: You can know the behavior of your crops facing of the different management tools that you used in the growing season. It is very useful to analyze the outcome of each decision taken and capitalize on errors and successes.
MULTI-YEAR ANALYSIS: : If you have stored yield maps of several growing seasons, it is possible to make a productivity map. This will allow you to choose the correctly genetic material and the planting date according to the potential of each zone.
NORMALIZED DIFFERENTIAL VEGETATION INDEX
You can follow the evolution of your crops throughout the growing season and differentiate between the healthy and vigorous vegetation of diseased and/or stressed vegetation. This can help you to detect problems, evaluate hail damage, perform yield estimates and compare crops to their status in previous years.
You can also identify areas of the lot with different growth status and conduct soil samplings by navigating the zone with the GPS of your cellphone or tablet.
The Normalized Differential Vegetation Index (NDVI) is obtained as from processing satellite images. Basically it consists of calculating the difference between the solar radiation that reaches the surface of the Earth and the radiation that is reflected.
At TSA we follow up the lot you need, calculate the NDVI of your crops and transformed it in useful information for the decision making. We give you the images in a friendly way, with a simple and practical instructive, so you can take advantage of this technology without being a specialist.
SATELLITE IMAGES
They are a key tool to know the history of the farm, identify disassembled areas, to evaluate hail damage and to calculate the risk of drought or flooding. They allow us to know the potential and limitations of each farm, to have an indication of the zones with: influence of water table, presence of petrocalcic horizon, high electrical conductivity, water or wind erosion, etc.
Having this information will allow you to design a management zone strategy, or know a farm to rent or buy before going to visit it. At TSA we process the images you need and transform them in useful information for the decision making. We give you all the information in a friendly way, with a simple and practical instructive so that you can take advantage of this technology without being a specialist.
